Cute and very quiet apartment in Alpine style in the valley head of Werfenweng - district Weng. The apartment is furnished with great attention to detail and offers everything you need for a stay including sunny balcony with views of the Hochkönig. The immediate surroundings offer year-round opportunities for rest and/or activities such as hiking, MTB, climbing, ski touring, skiing, cross-country skiing, paragliding, and much more. The district Weng is the end of the valley of Werfenweng. Directly from the apartment house there are numerous hiking trails, mountain bike routes and in summer a swimming lake with large children's playground, which can be reached on foot (5min). In winter, snowshoe or ski tours can be started directly from the apartment house and you can join the cross-country ski trail. The mountain railroads Werfenweng are reachable by car in two minutes. In summer a mecca for hikers and paragliders (cross-country flight, training, speed flying), in winter family ski area. Paragliding is also possible in winter. Bergbahn Werfenweng runs all year round (except for revision times). Numerous alpine pastures invite you in summer and winter. Wonderful panoramas of the Tennengebirge, the Hochkönig massif and the Hohe Tauern open up. The center of Werfenweng (10 minutes on foot) offers culinary delights for every taste. We are happy to give you recommendations. The village center is also a meeting place for young and old and a large playground for the youngest to teens. Grocery store and organic food store, sports stores with rental facilities are available. Werfenweng is also a center for soft mobility. There are also charging stations for electric cars in the village center. Excursions are possible in all directions: Salzburg (45 min. by car), Bischofshofen (20 min. by car), Hochkönig (40 min. by car), Hohe Tauern with numerous valleys (Großarl, Gastein, etc.).
