The Pfister family of the Birkenheim guesthouse welcomes you at Fügenberg, surrounded by the Zillertal’s beautiful mountain world. Above Fügen, in the hiking and recreation paradise of Fügen-Kaltenbach, lies the traditional family-run Birkenheim guesthouse in a quiet and sunny location. Amidst nature and nevertheless only 4 minutes away from centre of the village of Fügen by car, it is optimally situated for your family holidays. In winter, the Spieljoch and Hochfügen-Hochzillertal skiing areas are comfortably reachable within 5-10 minutes with the free ski bus that stops right outside the house. Shopping possibilities and local restaurants are available at Fügen’s centre that you can reach along the Goglhof sled run in 15-20 minutes. You are hereby rewarded with a wonderful panorama view across the anterior Zillertal. Much space and at the same time retreat possibilities are offered by the holiday apartment at the Fügenberg, in particular when spending your holidays with family or friends. In the five bedrooms guests can relax after an active holiday in the mountains or spend a sociable evening in the fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher and oven. Our balcony is accessible from three bedrooms and from the kitchen. From there, you can take in views of the Hamberg in the east and the Spieljoch in the south. Three double rooms come with shower and WC, the fourth room has a sink and two single beds and is perfectly suited as children's room when spending family vacation in the Zillertal. An additional WC is available in the hall. To ensure an uncomplicated stay in the Birkenheim, we offer fresh towels and bedlinen as well as free Wi-Fi. Enjoy nature and unwind in the garden. Particularly children are ideally accommodated at the Birkenheim guesthouse during summer months. They can not only have fun in the sandbox or on the trampoline, but also roam the surrounding meadows. Sports enthusiasts can start their bicycle tour direction Spieljoch right from the house and hiking and walking trails lead right to the Zillertal’s forests and meadows. In winter, the Goglhof sled run that guarantees great fun is only 10 minutes away. Pure wellness and relaxed hours can be experienced at Erlebnistherme Zillertal thermal spa, where you will find peace and can unwind in the spa and sauna area, both in summer as well as in winter.
