Val Thorens is part of the Vanoise mountain range in the Vallee des Belleville, Les Trois Vallees in Savoy. The longest slope runs for seven kilometers with the highest altitude reaching 3230 meters. The nearest airport is Chambery, 112 km away south of Albertville in France.
